Can just recommend for a short break

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Not only is it a stone's throw from Apsley Station for easy access to London, but the hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast that is well-cooked and presented were great.

Completely flawless.

This accommodation had a very central setting by a well kept canal with waterside pub. The room was airy and new-fashioned, had some excellent tea, coffee and a kettle. Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Hemel Hempstead.

we were in a great location relatively close to the paper mill museum. the room with air con.

The hotel was quiet and popular, however I stayed for 19 nights only. The stuff where excellant and efficient whole time of my stay. The room was new-fashioned and the bed was comfy. It was in an easy location minutes from Church of st Mary. Family-run venue set in the good area.

The location in an excellent area was unbeatable and there were shopping malls and a supermarket nearby.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the friendly and helpful staff and the comfortable, clean rooms. I found it so nice to take a leisurely stroll along the river just a short walk away and further explore Gadebridge Park, perfect for a weekend escape.

Breakfast buffet was not very well topped up at our time of eating. (9am)

The staff were very friendly and polite I didn't have any problems I turned up gave my name 2min later in my nice clean room.

great stay but minor bathroom issue

We found check-in smooth and the staff cute. The room was impeccably clean, and the thoughtful touches, like balloons for our son's birthday.

The bathroom could use a bit more attention during cleaning.

Perfect spot by the station

Loved the location! Right across from the train station for easy access to London. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was decent. Had some good pub grub at the restaurant. Only bummer was the breakfast chaos, no juice and staff running around trying to keep up. But overall, the nice vibe made up for it.

staff were very friendly and did everything possible to accomodate our requirements, including opening up breakfast early as a number of people needed to make early starts. Accomodation clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. Would definately stay there again.
